  • Occupational Therapist

    General Description of the Role 

    The school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) provides occupational therapy services to students ages birth – 21 within the Colorado River BOCES service area to help students benefit from special education.  Job related activities include screenings, evaluations, Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development, and direct and indirect therapeutic services. 

    This is a .75 FTE position. Pay is a pro-rated annual salary of $41,610 to $61,031 depending on experience and education.

  • School Psychologist / School Psychologist Intern / Social Worker

    The Colorado River BOCES has a .37 FTE position, working 61 days per year, open for a School Psychologist, School Psychologist Intern or Social Worker. The school psychologist/ social worker is responsible for providing direct support and interventions to students, consulting with teachers, families, and other school-employed mental health professionals (i.e., school counselors, school social workers) to improve support strategies, working with school administrators to improve school-wide practices and policies, completing assessments and collaborating with community providers to coordinate needed services. The position will require travel and candidates must be eligible for Colorado State license.

    This is a .37 FTE position, working 61 days per year. Pay is at a fixed rate of $80 per hour.

  • Half-time Special Education Compliance Secretary

    The Colorado River BOCES is seeking an experienced and efficient secretary to manage administrative tasks for Colorado River BOCES.

    The Compliance Secretary and will assist the SPED Director, SPED Coordinator, district, and Administrative Unit special education staff to optimize workflow, review compliance checks, and assist with scheduling. Job duties include but are not limited to answering emails and phone calls, working within the State provided IEP system, data entry, scheduling meetings, exporting and inputting data, taking notes at meetings and attending various trainings (state-provided IEP system, BOCES, and district level).

    The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently as well as collaboratively, and have at least one year of secretarial type experience.

    Starting pay is $25.15 per hour Depending on Experience.

  • Pay: $30.00 per hour with CDL, $24.36 Non-CDL

    Job description:

    BUS DRIVER

    General Description of the Role:

    Bus Drivers transport students to and from school and field trips, maintain records of transportation, and do basic maintenance of the vehicles.

    Qualifications Required:

    Education: High School Diploma, District required driver training

    Licensure: Colorado Driver’s License, CDL License

    Supervisor: Yampah Mountain Schools Principal or Fleet Manager

    Contract Days: Based on route schedule

    Compensation: Bus Driver Salary Schedule (hourly)

    Status: Non-exempt

    Working Conditions: Frequent travel required; management and de-escalation of students with aggressive behaviors

    Specific Skills Preferred
