Induction Program

The Colorado River BOCES works with our member districts to provide a Colorado State Board of Education-approved Induction Program for the region. This program is offered on a yearly basis and requires registration. An initial educators license is valid for three years and successful completion of induction is required for educators to move from an Initial License to a Professional License.
(Please read the information below carefully and refer to the CDE links provided at the bottom of the page if you have additional questions concerning your status and the licensing process.)
Program Requirements:
Participants must have a current initial Colorado License, with an endorsement in the same area as your current school assignment.

Program Pricing
CRBOCES provides induction programming for teachers, special service providers (SSPs), principals, and administrators. Member districts receive a reduced participation rate as part of their CRBOCES membership.
Principal / Administrator
CRBOCES Member District: $750
Non-Member: $1,000
Teacher / SSP
CRBOCES Member District: $400
Non-Member: $600
Participation fees are divided into two payments: 50% at enrollment and 50% prior to issuance of the certificate of completion. Whenever possible, the participation fee is paid by the employing district.

The 2026/27 SSP Induction Program will begin on Wednesday October 21st @ 4:00pm. On that evening we will host a one hour virtual introduction to the program. Be sure to block that time on your calendar when you register and we will follow-up with details.
