Job Posting: Coordinator for Mentor Training and Induction Open: Until Filled General Description: The Colorado River BOCES, in coordination with the Rio Blanco BOCES, is pleased to post the position of coordinator for mentor training and induction. Through the CDE Teacher Retention Grant, the CRBOCES will develop a three year induction program to be implemented in participating districts. As part of this program, teachers from around the region will be recruited to participate in a mentor training program, leading to a “Super Mentor” qualification, which will be used to support novice teachers in each district and across the region. The goal is to increase teacher retention and strengthen induction programming to provide new teachers with training and mentorship to better meet the needs of the students they serve. The Colorado River BOCES will participate as the coordinating and fiscal agency for the program. Duties:

Salary: The salary range for this position will be $70,000 - $90,00 per year (Year 1 will be prorated in accordance with a hire date and the June 30 fiscal year.)
